Chiral ferrocenyl diphosphines for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone
The synthesis of new optically pure ferrocenyl diphosphines have been realized from (R)-(+)-N,Ndimethylaminoethylferrocene. Particularly, dissymmetric ferrocenyl diphosphines have been synthesized. The diphosphines have been used as ligands in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone in the presence of Ru catalysts. © 2006 Elsevier Science. متن کاملApplication of ruthenium complexes of triazole-containing tridentate ligands to asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones.
The synthesis of a series of tridentate ligands based on a homochiral 1,2-diamine structure attached to a triazole group and their subsequent applications to the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones are described. In the best cases, alcohols of up to 93% ee were obtained. Although base is not required, the use of Ru(3)(CO)(12) as metal source is essential, indicating a unique mechanism ...
متن کاملAsymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones catalyzed by rhodium complexes containing amino acid triazole ligands.
Active and selective catalysts for the asymmetric reduction of ketones, under transfer hydrogenation conditions, were obtained by combining [RhCl(2)Cp*](2), with a series of l-amino acid thioamide ligands functionalized with 1,2,3-triazoles. The obtained secondary alcohol products were formed with up to 93% ee.
متن کاملAsymmetric Hydrogenation and Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones
Optically active alcohols are important building blocks in the synthesis of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, flavors and fragrances as well as functional materials (Arai & Ohkuma, 2011; Klingler, 2007). Furthermore, molecular hydrogen is without doubt the cleanest reducing agent, with complete atom efficiency. Therefore, the catalytic, asymmetric hydrogenation (AH) of prochiral k...

Wills) The first report of an asymmetric transfer hydrogenation, in formic acid/triethylamine, of quinolines is described. Using a Ru(II) catalyst containing a 4-carbon tether, products of up to 73% ee were formed, whilst...
